Lyreco Announces its intention to acquire Groenendijk Workwear in
the Netherlands to expand its expertise in Workwear and Footwear
Today, Lyreco announces its intention to acquire the overall operations of Groenendijk Workwear, based in the Netherlands and operating in the Benelux region. Groenendijk has more than 25 years’ experience in work- and footwear in the PPE market.
The intended acquisition is now subject to the approval of the Dutch Competition and Consumers Authority. Within Lyreco-Intersafe, Lyreco’s safety division, work- and footwear are currently the fastest growing PPE product families with a high demand in SMB and corporate customers.
“Groenendijk enables us to take a leap forward on our ambition plan by having a company with the knowledge and experience, already excelling in workwear with an even wider portfolio of possibilities that we can roll-out internationally.
