Intersafe appoints new CEO

We are pleased to hereby inform you that as of August 1, Joris Wels fulfills the role of Managing Director of the Intersafe Safety Business Unit (SBU).

Joris, until recently Managing Director of Elacin, the manufacturer of custom-made hearing protection which Lyreco acquired together with Intersafe in December 2018, has a very good understanding of Intersafe as an organization. An important asset to be successful.

Intersafe has fully stepped into the role of Safety Business Unit since last month with a responsibility to provide guidance and support to the countries and their Managing Directors in terms of expertise on product selection, better purchasing conditions and training & coaching for the sales operations. The goal is to use this to build strong teams of experts locally. 

In addition, it is up to the SBU to create the services and solutions that are a unique USP for the countries. These is the main mission that Joris and his team will now focus on.
