Main Accountabilities, following the SBU:

Job Description Summary;

  • Ensure profitable sustainable autonomous growth of PPE sales across all the countries where Lyreco Group is present through gaining international tenders (new business and renewals). Collaborate with each country Tender & Bid Managers and International Account managers (IAM) to gain market shares by pushing the Global Intersafe PPE solutions and product offering.
  • You therefore develop, implement and improve standard tender and sales processes with the aim to improve the productivity of sales, retain and gain customers and grow in profitability, through the most efficient use of Group Suppliers.

The responsibilities of this position includes – but may not be limited to -: 

  • You are supporting the international sales organization for the proactive qualification of international business according to the current EU PPE value proposition;
  • You are consulted to prepare the customer potential calculation and tender case preparation (incl. in ideal profile questionnaire) together with the IAM responsible for the opportunity;
  • You are responsible for the definition of tender team, deliverables, strategy;
  • You are responsible for the support in preparation of RFI and RFQ and directly involved in the preparation of PPE related sections. This includes participation to F2F meetings with customer stakeholders during this process phase;
  • You are completely familiar with all the internal processes within the Safety Business Line organization in order to review and support in the preparation of commercial texts in the proposals.
  • You can be consulted for the validation of quote details and profitability;
  • You are responsible for the preparation of the documentation of Sales presentations and follow up on negotiations in European Tenders, when a PPE Strategic Account Manager is not yet present in the leading country. Validation according to the international PPE tender process;
  • You are responsible for evaluating KPIs and enrich lessons learned, ensuring a continuous improvement approach is adopted in the definition of the tender strategy for future opportunities;
  • You are in charge of pushing the right selection of the product assortment to the countries in International Tenders (European legislation), under the guidance of the SBU marketing department and ensure increase of group suppliers share of wallet where possible and a consistent pricing approach for all countries involved;

Other Tasks/Responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for the completeness of the international tender’s dashboard and to have an analytical view on tenders for continuous improvement and planning reasons. Manage timely and complete local & group resources according to tender dashboard / planning;
  • You are responsible for the calculation of sales prices and margin in the tender baskets of European Tenders and large Commercial Tenders. Validation according to the international PPE tender process;
  • You are in support of the GOP IAM in the first process of translation of a tender won into a customer contract in coordination with Legal (if involved);
  • You are responsible for building and retaining the tender desk library with checked and compliant documents in order to improve the efficiency and quality of the tender process. Furthermore, you are responsible to ensure alignment between contractual agreements between Lyreco, customers and suppliers;
  • Support the PPE Implementation Manager and in case of absence be the backup of this roles;

  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills and are able to adapt your communication style to different bids, producing deliverables always compliant and commercially correct;
  • You have advanced proficiency in English, both verbally and written, speaking any other EU language is an asset;
  • You have a good understanding of the procurement process
  • You have minimum of 5 years of experience in business services. Proven track record in successful implementation of customers contracts in a multi-disciplinary team;
  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Economics or Business Administration;
  • Since this position is oriented towards the management of the relationship with all Lyreco countries, mobility of the individual is very important (travel opportunities mainly in Europe with occasional travel to Asia and Australia;
