A good health and safety policy starts with a systematic survey of potential risks to your employees’ welfare, health and safety.

Developing and implementing a safety policy based on a validated Risk Inventory and -Evaluation (RI&E) requires knowledge of the industry.

This is very much the case because legal obligations must be met. Despite the importance of personal protective equipment (ppe), it is not defined separately in an RI&E.
