Compliance

Compliance ensures that both law and regulations and internal rules to be respected. A policy for compliance also strengthens the integrity awareness.

The concept of "compliance" is derived from the English verb 'to comply' and means according to the Legal Lexicon 'compliance'. The last few decades, the concept of 'compliance' is increasingly used as a technical term for compliance with laws and regulations. In this interpretation, compliance is also referred to as 'regulatory compliance'. Compliance must ensure that both law and regulations as well as internal rules are respected within the organization. Compliance is also intended to strengthen internal integrity awareness.
A policy for compliance is first and foremost focused on products and services. Intersafe would like to make sure that all products produced, purchased and traded at least comply with the relevant legal rules and standards. Thus products of Intersafe are checked whether they comply with the European rules and guidelines for products. For personal protective equipment (PPE) is that the products guideline 89/686/EEC. Products that meet these requirements are identified by the presence of:

  • The CE mark
  • The declaration of conformity (EC declaration of conformity) manufacturer/producer
  • The certificate for the EC-type examination from the testing agency (notified body) (Cat. II and Cat. III)
  • The quality assurance (Cat. III)
  • The user manual
     

Actual legislation
