Intersafe has had a presence in the French market since 1995 with otoplastics through Intersafe Elcea France which is based just outside Paris. A team of 40 staff is responsible for measuring up for the bespoke hearing protectors on site and producing them. Abrium was taken over at the end of 2007 in order to be able to deliver the complete PPE package. 125 staff work out of 4 locations to service the French market. Products are delivered within 48 hours from the central Distribution Centre in Lyon.
